Update on Building 3 Wifi

Justin met with the ZSFG Dean’s Office IT lead late last week to discuss the WIFI and connectivity situation within the Division, during which we agreed upon the following actions:

  1. WIFI access points will be added or replaced in/near room 501, 505, and 627 – the three of the lowest areas of coverage in the current WIFI map and corresponding with the survey data.
  2. IT will remap the WIFI coverage on the 5th and 6th floors.
  3. Following the remapping, IT and Justin will meet to review the WIFI coverage and the survey data to determine next interventions which may include additional WIFI access points and further investigation on the experience by computer type – Macbooks reporting the most frequent issues on WIFI.

IT agrees that WIFI is a priority as it allows for us to move around, attend meetings, etc. and is now actively working on a Division-wide resolution.

DocuSign's chief diversity and engagement officer on how to use data to improve DEI

Earlier this year, DocuSign made a little more room around the proverbial C-suite table. In March, the company announced it would appoint Iesha Berry as its first-ever chief diversity and engagement officer.

Though the role is new to DocuSign, it is far from new to Berry, who is a veteran in the space and has previously worked at Microsoft, Bank of America and Slalom. Her time in financial services, as well as at legacy organizations, has translated into a distinct reliance on data and strategy as it relates to tackling diversity and inclusion work. And though Berry brings 20-plus years of experience, she says she is still in a position of learning in her first 90 days of leading diversity, equity and inclusion at DocuSign.
