ADULT MISSION TRIP TO CONROE MISSION CENTER

February 5-9, 2023

Join us for an adult mission trip to the Mission Center in Conroe, Texas! The Mission Center is the warehouse and command center for recovery efforts in The Texas Annual Conference. The warehouse collects, assembles and distributes disaster response equipment and supplies for use in regional disasters.

No experience required! We will assemble and verify cleaning and hygiene kits in a climate-controlled environment. Work hours are flexible. There is no trip fee, so the only expenses are meals.

If you’re interested in joining the team, pick up a flyer in the Narthex. Deadline to sign up is January 15.

THANK YOU for your continued financial support to our Church during 2022. Because of your support, work by the Trustees in selling the rental property and Staff doing a great job of keeping expenses down, we are looking to end the year strong. The Finance Committee is working with the Staff on the 2023 Operating Budget. For 2023, we will be reviewing our capital expenditure needs, looking at lowering our existing debt and expanding our mission and youth programs. We will be kicking off our 2023 Stewardship Campaign after the first of the year. Your support is helping our Church to Grow in many ways!!

On behalf of the Finance Committee Thank You!!

HOW TO HELP

BOB BULL’S COAT DRIVE

Through February 1st we will be collecting gently-used coats to be distributed by Beautiful Feet in Fort Worth.  All sizes are needed, children through adult! Please make sure coats are clean and in “working order”.

Saturday, December 24th

Christmas Eve is almost upon us! AUMC will be having three Christmas Eve services - 5:00, 7:00 and 9:00. The 5:00 will be our family service with the children's Christmas pageant. The 7:00 and 9:00 will be a traditional candlelight service.

Ushers and greeters will be needed at all three services to hand out bulletins, help people find seats and be a friendly face to welcome our guests and members! This a perfect opportunity for your family to be the church and serve together. We will need eight ushers and eight greeters for each service. If you or family are available to greet or usher on Christmas Eve please email Kim and let her know what service you prefer.

MANNA ROOM FOOD PANTRY

Thank you for your generous donations to the Manna Room! Due to a large donation from the Aledo ISD food drive, the Manna Room is very well stocked at this time. New lists will be published as needs arise. Again, thank you for all you do to support this ministry!

Create a great offer by adding words like "free" "personalized" "complimentary" or "customized." A sense of urgency often helps readers take an action, so think about inserting phrases like "for a limited time only" or "only 7 remaining"!
