The real estate profession involves lots of on-line interactions. You can keep yourself and your transactions safe by following precautions covered in NEXUS' "Safety Matters" course (see Professional Development section below) and also at NAR's Data Privacy & Security page. 

Just a few examples of good tips:

• Never click on unknown attachments or links, as doing so can download malware onto your device.
• Look out for emails requesting the purchase of anything.
• Watch out for fraudulent individuals posing as one of your contacts.

Dr. Sturtevant explained how the market will affect buyers, sellers, and real estate professionals. "Buyers will need to readjust their expectations," says Dr. Sturtevant. 

"Sellers are transitioning and they need you more than ever," she added.

Bright provided additional updates about exciting enhancements planned for the MLS, while NEXUS leadership delivered an update on association initiatives.

Treat Yourself to Beautiful Fall Mums and Support Local Charities in Need

The NEXUS Association of REALTORS® Community Service Committee is raising money for local charities with their annual Fall Mum Sale. 8 inch Mums can be purchased in a variety of colors at $9 each or 3 for $25.

Fill out the order form found here and return it to Linette Commisso at lcommisso130@gmail.com no later than September 6th. Flowers will be available for pick up at the NEXUS Toms River Office on September 13th and at the Cherry Hill Office on September 14th.
