Steve McReynolds Elected as Specifications Committee Chair | |
ACAF is thrilled to announce the unanimous election of Steve McReynolds as Chair of the Specifications Committee. Tim Carter will transition to Immediate Past Chair, and Patrick Pienkos will take on the role of Vice-Chair.
Steve brings a wealth of experience to the position, having worked with FDOT for more than a decade before joining Duval Asphalt as Quality Control Manager and simultaneously serving as Director of Operations for Asphalt Testing Solutions & Engineering.
We look forward to his leadership, alongside Tim Carter with P&S Paving and Patrick Pienkos with Ranger Construction Industries, as they guide the committee in advancing our industry's goals over the next two years!

2025 Florida Asphalt Scholarship Program: Now Accepting Applications! | |
The 2025 Florida Asphalt Scholarship Program is now open for applications! Graduating high school seniors of any members' employee are eligible to apply. The scholarship is applicable for college or trade school reimbursement. Please forward this to all employees!
The deadline to apply is April 11, 2025.

Florida’s construction industry boomed in the fall, with 7,600 new jobs created between October and November, the highest growth in the nation. The growth by percentage remained strong at 1.1%, rising from 663,100 to 670,700 and placing seventh overall.
