Mount Forest United 179th Anniversary Service

Mount Forest United is celebrating its 179th anniversary on Sunday, October 15th. Rev. Sue Campbell will be our guest speaker. Sue has been valuable as our liaison person for leadership while we are without a minister. An oh-so-yummy potluck luncheon will follow the service! Bring your family, friends, neighbours, and a healthy appetite and worship with us.

Our anniversary guest speaker, Rev. Sue Campbell, is looking forward to worshiping with us on October 15th. Sue was ordained to ministry in 1998 and is currently serving Trinity United Church in Elmira in her 7th year. Sue has served both rural and urban churches over her 25 years of ministry and is also a spiritual director and writer. Her book Spirit Refresh: Reflections to Comfort, Challenge and Deepen Your Relationship with God Through the Year was published in Dec 2022.

Over the years, Sue has taught English to refugees, lived in two intentional communities, hosted international students, and has done several pilgrimages. In her spare time, Sue enjoys singing, riding her e-bike, hiking, writing, baking, playing the Celtic harp, and reading mysteries. She lives with her husband in Guelph, Ontario and they have one adult son.

Sue will be bringing some copies of her book and happy to sign them after the service. Cost is $20 and includes tax.
