Lei Wedge, associate professor at the Kate Tiedemann School of Business and Finance, was quoted in a WUSF story about Tampa’s drop in the Zillow rankings.


Lisa Penney, a professor in the School of Information Systems and Management in Sarasota-Manatee, was interviewed by iHeart Radio about holiday stress and hurricanes.


Seden Dogan, an assistant professor of instruction in the School of Hospitality and Tourism Management, received a Best Paper award at the 5th Global Conference on Education and Research.


Dipayan Biswas, the Frank Harvey Endowed Professor of Marketing, was featured in a WTSP news story about AI enhancing holiday shopping.


Seckin Ozkul, an assistant professor in supply chain management, received a Best Applied Research Paper Award during the National Academies of Sciences 104th Transportation Research Board Annual Meeting held Jan. 5-9 in Washington, D.C.


Denny Yin, an associate professor in the School of Information Systems and Management, was featured in a Forbes news story on AI and handling customers' emotions.

Ten students from The Baldwin Group School of Risk Management and Insurance traveled to London to visit the epicenter of the world's insurance market.


Students met with Convex Insurance, Guy Carpenter, Decus Insurance Brokers Limited, Markel International, and Swiss Re representatives.


The group got a first-hand look at a day in the life of a London broker. A highlight was touring Lloyd's of London.


Thanks to the Florida Surplus Lines Service Office and its CEO Mark Shealy for their generous support.
