Counselor, Private Practice
Lacy is a Licensed Professional Counselor who has her own private practice in Cheyenne, Wyoming. She has nine years of counseling experience, and believes in a collaborative, holistic, strengths-based approach to therapy. Lacy is skilled in utilizing different therapeutic modalities to help meet the needs of her clients healing trauma, facing stress/anxiety, and walking through changes in life.

RVHAP Toolkit
This new web-based toolkit connects veterans with information on healthcare, housing, and emergency resources and connects healthcare providers with information on telehealth, training, and pilot projects to enhance healthcare services to veterans.
 
This toolkit is supported by the Wyoming Department of Health (WDH), Office of Rural Health (ORH) and the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS)
LCCC Telehealth Coordinator Training Course

Starting January 17, 2023.

This 16-week course provides a comprehensive review of the clinical, operational, regulatory and ethics of telehealth service delivery. Students will learn core concepts to support the implementation of telehealth projects and engage in the use of telehealth technologies for healthcare delivery.

Online, self-paced, weekly instructor check-ins.
Basic proficiency level in MS Office Suite and medical terminology is recommended.

Cost is $999. However, the cost is reduced to $99 for LCCC students. Financial assistance for students is also available. Grant funding may be available to qualifying businesses and organization.

Application deadline is now January 17, 2023.

2023 Medicare Physician Fee Schedule
The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) have finalized the 2023 Physician Fee schedule which includes:

  1. Discontinuing reimbursement of telephone (audio-only) evaluation and management (E/M) services;
  2. Discontinuing the use of virtual direct supervision;
  3. Five new permanent telehealth codes for prolonged E/M services and chronic pain management;
  4. Postponing the effective date of the telemental health six-month rule until 151 days after the public health emergency (PHE) ends;
  5. Extending coverage of the temporary telehealth codes until 151 days after the PHE ends;
  6. Adding 54 codes to the Category 3 telehealth list and modifying their expiration to the later of the end of 2023 or 151 days after the PHE ends.

Save the Date!

Please join Charlie Health, a panel of experts, and a super-audience of providers for a virtual CEU event, discussing the power of mental healthcare for neurodivergent clients. We will cover topics including:
  • How neurodivergent clients are reclaiming their differences as superpowers
  • Best and promising practices for affirming care
  • Leveraging creativity and technology in treatment

This CEU event will be a 1 hour interactive presentation with an additional 15 minutes for questions at the end.

December Consortium Meeting
The Wyoming Telehealth Consortium is the central meeting space to discuss the programs, success/challenges, and discuss ideas on improving the use of telehealth in the state. The Consortium usually meets on the last Tuesday of every month, from 3:00 - 4:30 pm. Anyone interested in building telehealth is encouraged to attend.

Special Interest Groups
The Community Health SIG is expanding! Now called Community Health and Chronic Disease Prevention, it now will encompass chronic health issues as well.
