Lansing Refugee Development Center seeks volunteers to help run Fall 2023 Programs:

GECP Welcome (Back) Pizza Party. Thursday, Sept. 7th, 5:30-7:00pm, Outdoor patio on the north side of Erickson Hall. RAIN LOCATION: Erickson Hall 252 Description: Meet up with old and new GECP friends and eat pizza (and salad). RSVP here.


Broad Museum Fall Opening Party. Friday, Sept. 8th, 6:00-10:00pm, Broad Museum 547 E. Circle Drive. Description: Kick off fall at the MSU Broad Art Museum with all new exhibitions! Drop in throughout the evening to explore the museum while enjoying food and drinks, music from the Spartan Alumni Marching Band and Impact 89FM, photos with Sparty, screenprinting, glow painting, button making, and more. Ubuntu Dialogues Gathering. Sept. 25th-29th. Various Locations in the Area. Description: The Gathering is the wrap-up event of the Ubuntu Dialogues project, a 2019-2023 partnership between MSU and Stellenbosch University funded by the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation. The Ubuntu Dialogues Gathering will mark the transition to a transcontinental and multi-hub Institute of Ubuntu Thought and Practice (IUTP). There is a Volunteer Registration tab where anyone interested in helping out with different aspects of the Gathering can sign up. Check out the full Event Website.
