Car Rider Traffic

Please make sure you take a moment to familiarize yourself with the car rider traffic flows in the videos linked above and below.

Grades 7 & 8: Middle school cars will enter through the middle school entrance off Drake Road. This will help alleviate the number of cars turning into the high school lot. (This will also save YOU a lot of time! The high school lot is much more congested with high school drivers and car riders than the middle school line!)

Grade 6: Please make sure you are using the new car-rider line on the south side of the building where the new wing is located.

Meet the Teacher Night

Meet the Teacher Night for grades 6-8 is on August 30. Parents/guardians will follow their child's schedule and teachers will have about 10 minutes to greet you and share important information about their class. So that we can accommodate our teachers who travel across campuses, we will stagger the start times of Meet the Teacher night. We recommend parents bring a copy of their child's schedule along with them so that they can find the teacher/location of their classes quickly. We will have schedules available for parents for those who are not able.

Grade 6 Meet the Teacher Night - Begins promptly at 6 p.m. at the Elementary School and ends at 7:40 p.m. Parents will go to their child's first period class to begin the evening. Parents will enter through the new wing entrance on the south side of the building.

Grade 7-8 Meet the Teacher Night - Begins promptly at 6:15 p.m. at the High School and ends at 7:55 p.m. Parents will go to their child's first period class to begin the evening. Parents will enter through the main entrance at Indian Hill High School.
We recommend parents bring a copy of their child's schedule along with them so that they can find the teacher/location of their classes quickly. We will have schedules available for parents for those who are not able.
Party in the Middle - September 8 - A Message from PTO

It's time for PARTY in The Middle!
It's a great time for our middle school kids to come together, have fun and root on our Braves football team as they play Mariemont. Join us at the Home of the Braves on Friday September 8th, from 5-7pm. Tickets are $15/kid

Here are different ways to purchase your child's ticket:
A) Online- preferred way! Go to www.ihpto.org
Log into and UPDATE your PTO account. If you do not have an account, it's very easy (and free) to create an account. Your account will keep you updated on all kinds of school related information. (Pay the membership fee $45 and get access to our online directory as well)
Once you are logged in, simply go to "My account" and "My forms" and click on the PITM event. Then go to "Shopping Cart" on top of the page to check out!

B) Use the "Membership Toolkit" app on your smartphone! The triple bar ≡  My account/My forms.

C) Bring a check made out to Indian Hill PTO in the amount of $15

D) Bring cash to the door!

Every student who has purchased a ticket will be on our list. We will have tables set out by grade level for each student to sign in. They DO NOT need to have a physical ticket or print out a ticket confirmation - we have their name if they bought a ticket.
Once signed in, every student who purchased a PITM ticket will get a WRISTBAND- that wristband is their ticket to the 7pm football game too!

We will have pizza for dinner and snacks. (allergy friendly, too)
We have planned a lot of great prizes, games, music, dancing, crafts and more!
BRAVES Spirit wear is encouraged!

BUT we need all the parent help we can get!
You can volunteer or donate snacks and gift cards for Bingo prizes.
Please click the link to view opportunities!
Reminder, PTO is NOT chaperoning the football game. Our event is from 5-7, but we do hope students use their tickets and join their families for the 7 PM game.

With Gratitude,
Your IH MS PTO
and PITM Chairs

Final Forms
We use FinalForms for academic, medical and athletic information. Your electronic signature is required each year to confirm your important information is up to date. Both students and parents must be read and digitally accept each form listed as soon as possible.

2023-24 Updated Cell Phone Policy
Students’ cell phones should not be used or seen at school (including classrooms, hallways, lunch, and recess) during school hours unless the student has received direct permission from a staff member. Smart watches with communication features can be worn, but should not be utilized to send messages, access social media, etc. during the school day.
Phones can be carried in pencil pouches, kept in lockers, in backpacks, etc. - but must remain out of sight at all times. Students can use their communication devices before school, after school, in the main office, or if given direct, specific permission by a staff member.

Additionally, for the safety of our students, headphones and earbuds (like “Airpods”) may not be worn during school unless a teacher has given students permission during a learning activity.

Personal communication devices and/or headphones may be collected by a staff member and sent to the front office for safekeeping until students are dismissed at the end of the day. If students use a personal technology device without permission for non-educational reasons (or in a way that does not demonstrate responsible use of technology) students will need to correct that behavior. Repeated non-compliance with teachers’ requests - regarding cell phones and devices but also other reasonable requests related or unrelated to technology - indicates a breakdown in respect and trust and will result in corrective attention.
