Throughout the month of May we focus on both National Foster Care Month and Mental Health Awareness Month. Today on National Children's Mental Health Awareness Day we want to emphasize the importance of prioritizing the mental health of you, your children, and your entire family.

This is especially important for children who are in foster care. According to the National Conference of State Legislatures, up to 80% of children in foster care have significant mental health issues, compared to approximately 18-22% of the general population.

Adoptions Together is there for every child, every family, every step of the way. If you or a member of your family are in need of additional support, take a look at our resources below and let us know how we can help.
