Introducing New Roles

Our office has recently undergone a few changes in our staffing roles.

  • I will now be overseeing both 4-H and Clover Kids. I am the go-to for anything fair, 4hOnline or club related.

  • Kali Downs, will now be moving to a full-time Marketing role. She will be working on ways to make Dallas County Extension and Outreach and 4-H visible to the public.

  • We will have a new staff member starting this month who will be focusing on the programming and outreach into the community. You might see this staff member at various workshops and other educational opportunities through our office.

The 2022 Post Fair Meeting will be held on September 20th from 6-7pm. This will be during the first hour of the monthly Youth Committee Meeting. Please bring your helpful tips and solutions to make the fair an enjoyable time for our 4-H and FFA youth exhibitors and volunteers.

Post Fair Solutions

Little Hands on the Farm is looking for volunteers: This exhibit is designed for children ages 2-10 to teach them the importance of agriculture and how it affects their daily lives. Volunteers receive admission to the fair, parking and a volunteer t-shirt for their four-hour commitment. Each group volunteering will need a group leader; this person will be the point of contact for the fair and will receive all volunteer materials including admission tickets, parking passes and t-shirts.

Please use the link below to sign-up to volunteer.
