PARENT INFORMATION NIGHT- TONIGHT

Join us in the Greenlawn Auditorium tonight, Thursday, December 1, at 7:00 p.m. Mr. Staffelbach will provide an overview of Evaluations, Project Week, and Oral Exams. All parents are welcome, but this evening will be especially helpful for parents in their first year at Trinity School.

EARLY DISMISSAL TOMORROW

As a reminder, sudents will be dismissed early from school tomorrow (Friday), December 2, at 2:00 p.m.

RECORDER RECITAL

Students who have been studying the recorder this semester will perform some lovely pieces on Wednesday, December 7, at 7:00 p.m. in the Greenlawn Auditorium. This event is open to the public.

FOOD DRIVE

The Student Life Committee is hosting a food drive now through Dec. 20. All non-perishable food items will be donated to the Indiana Northern Food Bank. This will be a SEEK event. 

WINTER CHOIR CONCERT

Students in both our curricular and extracurricular choirs will give a choir performance on Wednesday, December 14, at 7:00 p.m. This is one of several fine arts events this season that are free and open to the public, so be sure to come and invite friends and family. Please reference the October 28 email regarding choir uniforms.

WINTER BALLROOM DANCE PARTY

(Grades 9-12)

The Winter Ballroom Dance Party for students in grades 9-12 will be held on Saturday, December 17, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., at Dan O'Day Studios in Mishawaka. Please see the invitation sent out on Monday, November 28, for details and some notes on dress code.

WINDING BROOK FUNDRAISER

Every year during the Christmas season, Trinity School at Greenlawn has the opportunity to participate in the Winding Brook Park Christmas Gift to the Community. This is a free, drive-through light display organized and hosted by residents of the Winding Brook neighborhood in Mishawaka. At the end of the light tour, visitors are invited to make a donation to benefit a charitable cause. Donations are collected by volunteers.

This year Trinity School will be collecting for St. Bakhita Vocational School in Kolongo, Uganda, on December 17 and 22. In past years we have raised as much as $3000 for worthy causes, so we are eager to see what this year's efforts will bring.

We are inviting students and parents to volunteer on one or both of these dates. You may choose to volunteer for the entire evening, or for a single shift, as indicated on the SignUpGenius page linked below. Students may also sign up during the school day using the roster outside of the faculty room. Students must be 14 years old to volunteer, or as young as 13 as long as they are accompanied by an adult (18+). This volunteer information flier provides an overview of what to expect.

JUNIOR DRAMA PERFORMANCE II

The juniors will give a performance of Carlo Goldoni's The Servant of Two Masters. Join us on Wednesday, December 21, at 7:00 p.m. in the Greenlawn Auditorium to watch a troupe of traveling players clown their way through a comedy of mistaken identities, love triangles, and slapstick. Admission is free, so bring your friends and family!

WINTER FIELD DAY & EARLY DISMISSAL

Winter Field Day will take place on campus on Wednesday, December 21. Students should come to school in uniform as usual. The school day will end at noon.

FATHER-DAUGHTER DANCE

(Grades 6-12)

All Trinity School girls and their fathers are invited to save the date for a Father-Daughter Dance to be held at Dan O'Day Studios on Sunday, January 15, at 7:00 p.m. An invitation from Mr. Staffelbach with more details on this event will be forthcoming.

MOSAIC WINTER SOIREE

Save the date for the Mosaic Winter Soirée in January! Join us for delicious food, good wine, and conversation at the Greenlawn Mansion on Saturday, January 21, at 7:00 p.m. As in past years, this year's Mosaic event will bring together benefactors, alumni, parents, faculty, staff, and friends of Trinity School at Greenlawn. Please gather with us in this expression of gratitude for the unique contributions each of you bring to our community. Invitation and RSVP to follow.

WEATHER CLOSURES

In the event of inclement weather on a school day, we will communicate a closure to all Trinity School families via email by 7:00 a.m. Trinity School closures will also be posted on WSBT-TV, WNDU-TV, and ABC-57. Please keep in mind that Trinity School closures do not always align with the decisions of the South Bend Community School Corporation. 

Both WSBT and WNDU offer text alerts for school closures. You can sign up to receive a text alert specifically for Trinity School by using the forms on their websites.
