Project Updates
Updates to Round Hill Visitor Center Rain Garden!

We are excited to announce updates to our plan for the Visitors Center Rain Garden in Round Hill Park. The location of the rain garden site has been revised and will now be featured on the northwest side of the Visitors Center to better treat water runoff from the building and pavement. Work is expected to be completed in 2024. We extend a huge thank you to our partner on this project, Allegheny County, and to our project funder, EQT Foundation. Visit our website to learn more about this important work.
Carol R. Brown Sculpture Garden Tour

On Saturday, August 12, we were thrilled to participate in a private tour of the Carol R. Brown Sculpture Garden in Hartwood Acres Park. The tour was led by University of Pittsburgh Museum Studies Students for their summer fellowship program, in conjunction with the Office for Public Art. We would like to thank all the students, teachers, and leaders who worked together on this project, which focused on learning more about the history of the art found in the Sculpture Garden and on the artists who created each piece. The information shared will be used by Allegheny County Parks in their ongoing programming of the Sculpture Garden. Thank you to Allegheny County, Office for Public Art and the University of Pittsburgh for working with us on this engaging project. If you haven’t visited the Sculpture Garden yet, check out our website and plan your visit soon

Ways to Support
Donor Advised Funds
A Donor-Advised Fund, or DAF, is like a personal charitable savings account. You, the donor, contribute funds to this account, while receiving an immediate tax deduction. Then the donor recommends grants from the fund over time to your favorite charities. Learn more on our webpage or by contacting our Individual Giving Manager, Caitlin Harpster.
