Holiday Playdough Drop-In

Tuesday, 12/13, 10:00 - 1:00 PM 


Join us for some holiday-scented playdough fun! Make Christmas trees or cookies, or use your imagination to create just about anything! Families, All Ages Welcome

No registration. Drop in anytime!


'On the Road' Messy Meetups @ Southaven Park

Wednesday, 12/14, 10:00 - 11:00 AM


Come explore the “Forest School” trend with your little one. Messy Meetups is an outdoor all-weather program designed to expose families to the concept of child-directed messy outdoor play and to meet other families with young children who also love to be outside. Each week we will focus on a different creative activity and also have the freedom to explore. Please be prepared for the weather! Rain, snow, or shine. Be prepared to engage and get dirty with your child. Be sure to have proper outdoor play and weather-appropriate clothing and footwear. Children 2-5 years with their adult (siblings 7 and under are welcome)


Ugly Sweater Decorating

Wednesday, 12/14, 4:30 - 5:30 PM


Stop in to upcycle your own older sweater into an ugly sweater! You must provide your own sweater to decorate, we will provide the materials to decorate with. Families with at least one child grade 7 or younger. No registration is necessary.  

Mini Glitter Bottle Craft

Thursday, 12/15, 5:00 - 5:45 PM 


Join us for a doubly fun sparkly craft! We’ll make tiny glitter bottle necklaces to wear, as well as a little glitter bottle to keep on your desk or next to your bed. Shake your glitter bottle and watch the glitter slowly settle. It’s a great way to help you feel mindful, calm and relaxed. And it’s pretty to look at! Grades 2-6.

Tuesday, 12/13, 6:00 - 8:00 PM


Play with Ms. Chelsea, Ms. Sam, and your friends in an epic tabletop adventure full of magic, puzzles, and more. Characters and dice will be provided.






Pamper Yourself

Wednesday, 12/14, 3:00 - 4:00 PM


Create your own spa-related goodies with Ms. Sam. While supplies last. This is a drop-in program.


Teen Bingo!

Friday, 12/16, 5:45 - 7:30 PM

ADULTS

Beginner Sketching and Drawing 

Tuesday, 12/13, 6:00 – 7:30 PM


Join art instructor Jennifer Lucas to learn the basics of sketching and drawing. Materials needed for class: HB, 2B, and 4B pencils, a kneaded eraser, a small clear ruler, and a sketchbook or sketchpad. 


Learn the Art of Quilting

Work on a different project each month that will be donated to various organizations. This is not an instructional program.

The Season of Giving Online  

Wednesday, 12/14, 7:00 - 8:30 PM  

 

'Tis the season for charitable giving. Whether you want to raise money for a cause you care about or locate a pre-existing organization to contribute to online, this program will explore where you can begin and how you can go about it safely. Please note that this is a virtual workshop that requires an email address and internet access.

 

Adult Enrichment: Holiday Cookie Decorating

Thursday, 12/15, 4:45 - 5:45 PM   


Join us to decorate holiday cookies with your friends, including Ms. Currao (WFHS Special Education Teacher) and Nick Nappi, program manager. This is an inclusive program for those 18 and older. This is a drop off program.
