I get this question a lot...

Does the market die down this time of year? The answer is always the same for me. The Real Estate market never stops, it is always a fluid market because we are dealing with humans who are constantly moving and addressing life changes. Their housing needs change.

We are still experiencing a lack of inventory, so for sellers it is a great time to list, especially this time of year with all the fresh evergreen smells and the glittery holiday lights. Its hard not to fall in love with a cozy warm home. Listing now means less competition, serious buyers are out and about and more than likely will offer you a quick sale.

For buyers my advise is to keep looking and hang in there. The market will change. Please be positive regarding the interest rates because they rise and fall every day,
and home values have historically gone up, creating real equity for you.

Today's higher rates aren't even close to historical highs and when they drop you can refinance for a lower mortgage payment.
