Still Waters Adult Day Center is a person centered, faith based, and activity rich center for our seniors. We provide a safe place Monday - Friday for seniors to engage with other seniors to encourage social, emotional, and physical well-being.

"Preparing to Age Expo" is coming April 19 from 9:30am-2:30pm |
Still Waters will be hosting our FIRST ever Senior Expo April 19 from 9:30am-2:30pm at Castleton United Methodist Church! This event is FREE and open to the public!
Discover a variety of topics through interactive presentations, games, and expert-led breakout sessions on preparing to age well. Enjoy live entertainment and the chance to network with like-minded individuals. This free event is committed to making healthy aging accessible to all. Seize the opportunity to invest in your well-being and connect with a community celebrating the beauty of aging gracefully. We will have over 30 vendors available to answer all your aging questions. There will be hearing tests, immunizations, vision tests, and other health screening tests available.

Flower Sale is RETURNING May 3 |

We are excited to announce our largest fundraiser of the year and invite you to help support Still Waters! This year, we have some exciting new additions to our offerings.
Our flats will now consist of 4" pots, with a full flat containing 10 pots and a half flat containing 5 pots. In addition to flats, we will also have a beautiful selection of hanging baskets, succulents, and accent plants.
By participating in our fundraiser, you not only enhance your own living space with beautiful plants but also contribute to the vital programs and services we provide to our community.

Still Waters Adult Day Center is seeking volunteers for our upcoming flower sale fundraiser on May 3rd, and we would greatly appreciate your assistance.
Volunteers play a crucial role in the success of our fundraising events, and your support will help us continue providing essential services to our community.

Join us for coffee hour at Still Waters, March 13th, 9:30am-11am |
Our next coffee hour is Wednesday, March 13 at 9:30am. This is a group of current and previous caregivers that enjoy sharing memories while creating lasting friendships with lots of support, laughter and tears. Kleenex optional. Join us for a cup of coffee and a treat while chatting with others. Please drop in anytime during the coffee hour. This is a safe space for you to feel less alone and receive mutual support from others.
At times caring for another person can be heavy but it is also the most rewarding and selfless act one can do! Every caregiver needs just a kind word of support to help them rise above burnout!

Caregiver Support Groups March 13 and 27- 9:30-10:30am |
We will have Caregiver Support Groups Wednesday, March 13 and 27, at Castleton United Methodist Church, 7101 Shadeland Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46256, in the Legacy Room from 9:30am-10:30am. The Legacy Room is just to the left after entering the front door (just under the overhang).
Just a reminder the Caregiver Support Group is on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of the month.
This is free and open to the community. You do not need to have a guest at Still Waters to attend.

As we embark on another month filled with community collaborations, we are immensely grateful for the generosity and support of organizations like the Alzheimer's Foundation of America, the Indiana Arts Commission, and the Women's Fund. Thanks to their unwavering dedication, we are able to enhance the services and experiences we offer to our guests and caregivers.
The Alzheimer's Foundation of America's ongoing support enables us to continue offering weekly music therapy sessions, providing our community with a therapeutic outlet that fosters connection and joy.
With the assistance of the Indiana Arts Commission, we are excited to introduce weekly drumming sessions from Bongo Boys, adding a rhythmic dimension to our programming that promises to uplift spirits and energize our community.
The Women's Fund allows us to offer legacy portraits to our guests and caregivers, creating cherished moments and visual testaments to lives richly lived, and cherished moments shared, preserving memories that will be treasured for years to come.
We are also deeply grateful for the ongoing contributions of Butler musicians, UINDY volunteers, Herron art therapists, and IU marketing interns. Their talents and dedication enrich our programs and strengthen our community connections, making a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve.
