Invitations have been sent to municipal planning and administrative staff, in addition to municipal volunteers. If we missed any contacts that fall within these audiences and you would like to attend, please contact ssylvia@strafford.org.

TRANSPORTATION

During the week of July 18, SRPC finalized a contract with the Town of Lee to map trails at three different town-owned conservation properties: Maud Jones Memorial Forest, Lee Town Forest, and Little River Park.

This process will be completed using a GPS unit with ESRI mapping software, which will be completed by SRPC planning technician Stephen Geis, and data collection intern Mark Davie.

The data will then be translated into static maps which will show the trails and other points of interest.

This project will be completed over next six months.

ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT

On Wed. Jul. 20, SRPC staff met to discuss a resource created by economic recovery coordinator Natalie Gemma. What is currently being referred to as the economic development eco-system, is a database of contacts SRPC has made during the program development through its CARES Act funding.

This resource includes entities, key contacts, target audience, and a brief overview of the services offered.

This resource will eventually be made available on the SRPC website, for partners and stakeholders to utilize.
