Daily Lenten Offering

All must test their own work; then that work, rather than their neighbor’s work, will become a cause for pride. For all must carry their own loads.

Galatians 6:4-5

God, help me manage what is mine and only what is mine. When I cannot distinguish what belongs to me and what belongs to another, call me back. Show me where I begin and end. By this effort, may I be a better neighbor and friend. Amen.

Use your slip of green paper to write a sentence or two about when you said “no” to an unreasonable request. How did it feel to take responsibility for your own emotions and your own destiny?

Don't have one handy? Divide any piece of paper (8.5x11) and fold it in half twice. You can pick one up at church.

On Sunday, we ask you to share something with the congregation. Not everyone will be able to share every week. But we hope that everyone will take the time to add a link to our paper chain.
