Be Smart Gun Safety Awareness Presentation

A huge thank you to MPBC member and Moms Demand Action activist Lorin Bent for presenting the Be SMART campaign to our group last week. We hope to host more challenging parenting topics in our "Let's Talk About It" series as we dive into the complexities of progressive faith and parenting in the months ahead.

ACTivate your Environmental Justice MOJO!

For the past seven Sundays, our children have brought you a Creation Justice Moment, turning each letter of the word CREATION into a focus area for saving God’s Creation:

They’ve done this to increase our awareness, encourage our advocacy, and most importantly (with their cry of Hosanna, "save us please") inspire us to act! We cannot afford to let them down.

Church Office Summer Hours

June 2 - September 3

During the summer months, we adjust our church office hours slightly. The office will remain open Mondays-Thursdays from 9a-5p, but will close at 1p on Fridays. If you would like to meet with a staff member, please keep these hours in mind when scheduling your appointments.

The Alliance of Baptists, which began in 1987 as a prophetic voice in Baptist life, is our primary religious affiliation. Today, they have grown to be a justice movement and community of faith of about 4,500 individual members and 140 congregations knit together by love for one another and God, combining progressive inquiry, contemplative prayer and prophetic action to bring about justice and healing in a changing world.
