Performance Measures Workshop

The TPA is hosting a workshop with presentations from the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) and the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) to discuss the National Highway System (NHS) Performance Measures and Targets, including how they are established, how the state and Palm Beach County are doing and what a Metropolitan Planning Organization's (MPO) role is in this process.

This workshop will be held on August 17 from 9 - 11 a.m. at the TPA. A virtual option is available for those who cannot attend the workshop in person. Register at PalmBeachTPA.org/PMWorkshop or at the link below.

Back to School Safety

School District of Palm Beach County Schools students go back to the classroom this week! Do you know when you need to stop for a school bus? Drivers should always stop when they are traveling behind a bus. Drivers traveling in the opposite direction should also stop, unless there is a divider such as a raised median or landscaping, then proceed with caution.

Check out more back to school safety resources from the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles at the link below.
