Dear Families,

Spring is nearly upon us. With that comes annual State Testing. Our Juniors are the first up with ACT on Tuesday, March 12th. We are encouraging all Juniors to do their absolute best on this assessment. We have some exciting incentives in place for them to encourage doing their best. These have been shared with students in Homeroom. Did you know that these results are factored into our High School Report Card that the Department of Public Instruction uses to measure school success? That is why we need students to take these state assessments seriously. Please help us by encouraging your student to try their best.

Next will be the Freshmen and Sophomores in April. More to come on that in our next Month's newsletter.

This will be a Digital Distance Learning Day for You

Tuesday, March 12th

*due to Junior ACT Testing*

Juniors will be the only students reporting to school this day

Tuesday, April 2nd was originally the date selected to do our Pre-ACT State Testing for 9th and 10th grade students. We are switching that to Wednesday, April 3rd. The change has been reflected on the bell schedule calendar linked in this newsletter.

• Monday, April 1st Teacher Inservice. ALL Students are off.
• Tuesday will be an 8-period school day.
• Wednesday will be In person for 9th-10th for Pre-ACT State Testing. 11th-12th will be Digital Distance Learning Day.
• Thursday will be an 8-period day.
• Friday will be an 8-period day.

Family Career Community Leaders of America members traveled to Oregon High School on Monday, February 19th for Regional Competition. These students have advanced to state competition in April at the Kalahari in Wisconsin Dells.
