The current SLS team will establish a new center under the Vice President of Interdisciplinary Research (VPIR), as part of BBISS, which is serving as a hub for coordinating the Institute’s sustainability research, education, operations, and economic development through the Sustainability Next ISP initiative.

Three students have been named recipients of the prestigious 2023-24 Fulbright scholarship, a highly competitive program that provides opportunities for students and scholars to study, teach, and conduct research abroad.

The Princeton Review released its 2023 rankings for Best Value Colleges, and Georgia Tech ranked #1 for career placement (again) and #6 for internships. These rankings complement the #5 Co-op/Internships ranking received in 2023 from US News.

Ashley Goodnight’s team Unmanned Aircraft System was recognized for the best project in Electrical and Computer Engineering, while Matthew Reingold’s team Power (Density) Rangers was recognized for the best project in Materials Science and Engineering.

Pre-Graduate and Pre-Professional Advising hosted Applying to Graduate School Week for students considering advanced degrees as part of their professional journey.

This 2-year appointment supplements her faculty position in the Sam Nunn School of International Affairs. 

Cekiethia Covington joined the Career Center team on May 8th, filling the Administrative Professional III position at the Center. 

Camille was recognized for her hard work and commitment to outstanding service at Ivan Allen College's End of Year Celebration, on April 26th.

In collaboration with experts in the field, Charmaine has curated resource guides covering a variety of topics specific to first-generation student success. 

Beth has been overseeing this on an interim basis during the last year. LS coordination for GT will now be housed within our Academic Success and Advising (ASA) unit within OUE.
