JABEZ – LESSON 7

GOD’S HAND WITH YOU – PART 2

1 Chronicles 4:10 (NKJV) gives the third part of Jabez’ prayer as, “Oh, that Your hand would be with me…”  (Yesterday I mistakenly said 2 Chronicles.) We spoke of our dependence on God to handle the blessing and enlargement He brings to us in response to our prayer. Today we look at how He brings that help to us.

It comes through His Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is the hand of God that works in us and for us and through us. What the Father “wills” and the son “speaks,” the Holy Spirit “performs.”

Jesus called the Holy Spirit the Comforter in John 14:6 and the Spirit of Truth who will teach us all truth. The Comforter strengthens and guides us during times of trouble and in times of peace. The peace that Jesus gives us (John 14:27) is conveyed to our own spirit by Holy Spirit.

Holy Spirit also intercedes on our behalf on things we do not even know about or how to speak about.  (Romans 8:26-27.) His intercession is like that of an advocate speaking or working on our behalf. He is “the hand of God with you.”

Spiritual gifts are given by God through Holy Spirit. (1 Corinthians 12:4-11.) The fruit of the Spirit grows within us and manifested through us by Holy Spirit.

It is by the Holy Spirit, our advocate, that we can have confidence in the “hand” of God. In Romans 8:28 it says, (KJV) “All things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called (saved, redeemed) according to His purpose.”

Holy Spirit is the hand of God who actively works for you.

THE GOD OF PEACE BRINGS THE PEACE OF GOD

In Philippians 4 the apostle Paul speaks about peace. In verse 6 he says, “Be careful (worried) for (about) nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.”

God does not want us to have worry in our life. Worry indicates that we are walking in fear instead of faith. You cannot have peace if you walk in fear.

In order to have the peace of God you must first know the God of peace. When you know the God of peace through knowing His word, your faith rests in the knowledge of God and His promises.

Verse 7 says, “And the peace of God which passeth all understanding shall keep your hearts (spirit) and minds (soul) through Christ Jesus.”

We can be sure that God brings peace beyond our understanding when we have a personal relationship with God.

Is there a lack of peace in your life? Check up on your time spent with the God of peace. If your faith is weak, take the time to read the Word of God that builds up your faith. When your faith rests in God and his promises, then the peace of God comes from the God of peace.

For I would say that your days of dryness are over. I am about to pour out my living water upon you and all that you touch. Yes, you have felt that you have been in a desert place with no where to drink from, but I am bringing you into an oasis where you will find refreshing saith the Lord.  For there have been many days that the enemy has zapped strength from you almost to the point that you would have given up and left this life it I hadn’t said no more. For you have withstood this severe testing and now you will see things become much watered. For this water shall bring forth fruit that will bring forth a harvest. For you have been found faithful. Yes. Even many of your friends have been as Job of old telling you what you had to do. But they had not inquired of me saith the Lord. You have withstood the mocking and the shame of words and pressure. And you shall come forth from this fire of dryness with a new anointing upon you. For I would say to you this day. Rise up and proclaim the water of life to flow over you. Receive it now and walk in it saith the Lord. For wherever you go your footsteps shall leave the water of life. Many will see it and desire to have it. But it only comes to those that have come through the testing and have not yielded to the flesh in this hour. Rise up my child and go forth in my power and strength knowing that I am guiding you and leading you to that oasis where you will be refreshed. Come there often. For the days ahead will require it. For there will be many fiery battles. But the water of life within you shall flow forth and quench the fires of the enemy.  Go forth now saith the Lord. Rise up and walk in my anointing.

Just be assured that on the other side of the difficult transition and storm you’re walking through...There is a brand new season awaiting you. What you can’t see at the moment is through it all God is fine tuning your hearing; As He makes you more aware of what He’s saying in this critical hour. Yes, in the very midst of the chaos God is giving you a greater understanding of the path ahead. So get yourself ready for you’re about to experience divine revelation; And it will complete the preparation for a supernatural breakthrough. Now trust God as He takes you into all He has promised to you.

                I write this poem for you Lord, 

                  With thanks from all my heart. 

                  Such blessings of life you give. 

                  The Sun, the Moon, the Stars. 

                  You give me grace and light my way, 

                  Through the darkness of the hour. 

                  You show and guide me every day. 

                  Your forgiveness, it follows me. 

                  One day I’ll be with you. I can hardly wait. 

                  I’ll hold your hand; I’ll see you smile. 

                  At Heaven’s gate will walk awhile.
