SouthEast Effective Development (SEED)

Dear friends,

SEED’s Strategic Plan starts with centering community. We recognize that collaborating with other local groups is a key aspect of centering our neighbors in our work. For the Summer Kickoff event for SEED residents at Rainier Court, we partnered with HomeSight, Jazz Night School, Seattle’s LGBTQ+ Center, and many more.

Another recent example is the partnership between KVRU and the South Seattle Emerald to center hyperlocal news. Soon, we’re piloting a weekly news show that will be broadcast at 105.7 FM and streaming online.

On Saturday, we’ll be at Rainier Arts Center celebrating our partnership with the South Seattle Emerald and their nine years of amplifying the authentic narratives of the South End. Stop on by to say "Hi" and then amble over to Columbia City Gallery for our ever-popular juried exhibit opening

Happy summer,
