High Heat

With the high temperatures expected throughout this weekend, all ten branches of Pamunkey Regional Library will be open their normal schedule on Saturday, July 23, and open from 10 am to 6 pm on Sunday, July 24. King William, West Point, and King & Queen branch hours on Saturday are 10am-2pm.

While the libraries are not technically cooling shelters, they do have air conditioning and water for people that need a place to go and not have to spend any money.

FIRST EVENT TONIGHT!
July 22nd & August 19th

The King William County Economic Development Authority (EDA) has two Friday Farmers Market and Family Fun Nights planned this summer on July 22 and August 19 from 4-7pm in the parking lot of King William High School. The EDA will use the events as pilots for what could be more regular events in 2023.

The event features local produce and meat vendors, artisans, crafters, and several County departments including Parks & Rec and Fire & EMS. Family fun will include live farm animals, agricultural activities for children, food trucks, and more.

Aug. 19th Vendor Registration is Open!
FOOD TRUCKS WELCOME.
No fee is being assessed by the EDA for either night. Visit the County website to complete a vendor interest form online, download a paper copy, download and read the Farmer's Market and Family Fun Night Operational Rules, or download a flyer with all pertinent information to share.

Invite your family & friends to join you for this fun community night and enjoy some of the tastes & talents of King William County!
