A Month of Compassion: Support Clear the Shelters |

Join Valley Humane Society and NBC and help Clear the Shelters! From August 1 to 31, we'll unite with NBC and Telemundo stations across the U.S. and Puerto Rico as they collaborate with animal shelters and rescues to champion pet adoption and raise essential funds for animal welfare. Pet adopters will enjoy special Clear the Shelters swag in their adoption goody bags all month, and our adoption center will be open an extra day on Sunday, August 27 as part of Clear the Shelter's big push; be sure to stop by and meet our adoptable dogs and cats!

We're kicking off our saddle shoes for the 9th annual Tails at Twilight gala, as we celebrate the pets who touch our lives. Join us Saturday, September 30, for a swingin' sock hop. Slip into your finest rock n' roll attire and meet us on the dance floor! A bubbly champagne reception with scrumptious appetizers will be followed by an exquisite seated dinner. Believe it or not, your vote can impact the health and wellbeing of pets! That's why Valley Humane is excited to be a site for Alameda County's voter registration drive. Two Fridays--August 25 and September 8--from 10 am - 4 pm, citizens can swing by our Nevada Street adoption center and register to vote or sign up to be an Election worker. |
