Dear Tier II Organizations,

As we move into 2021, SCFD’s goal is to continue to support you to the best of our ability while staying true to our governing state statute to provide funding to “enlighten and entertain the public.”

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

How Tier II Funding Works
SCFD uses forms A, B & C to verify the funding formula for distribution. As the funding formula is already set for the 2021 cycle using audited 2019 revenue and attendance numbers, SCFD does not need forms A, B or C from FY 2020.

Reporting Requirements for 2021
SCFD will still require each organization to report on 2020 financial, activity, and attendance data. Moving forward the former qualification application and certification report will be combined into a single annual application. You will be updated shortly once the new grants management system is launched.

WHAT YOU NEED TO DO

For 2021, Prepare The Following
  • Audited financial statements for FY 2020
  • Most recently filed 990
  • Attendance and activity data for FY 2020

Forward This Email To Your Auditor
It is your responsibility to update your auditor informing them of these changes for 2021. For the 2021 SCFD application, auditors will be required to provide you with audited financial statements only.
