The Chamber’s 112th Annual Installation Dinner is close at hand. This is a celebration of all things good about our business community, honor our current and new board members and pay tribute to our outgoing Board Chair Jim Vander Spek along with welcoming our incoming Board Chair Deanna Smith. We’ll also pay tribute to our current Board members who are terming out and swearing in our newest additions to the Board.
The Board members play an important role for the Chamber. They contribute to the overall success and impact of the Chamber by lending their time and expertise in helping the Chamber achieve our goals and spread the word of all the impact we’re having on our community.
Please take the time to consider attending this fun-filled evening in support of your Chamber. You don’t have to be a member to attend, everyone is invited.
I would also like to take a moment to thank our outgoing Board Chair Jim Vander Spek. Jim has served on the Board for over 4+ years in a variety of roles, with Board Chair being his current position.
Jim has been a great resource for the Chamber and me. His time and professional expertise have been called upon many times and he has never failed to respond and lend his help, guidance, and expertise on a variety of levels. It is not an easy role to fill when one is asked to serve as the Board Chair of the Chamber.
Jim accepted this challenge and met it with copious amounts of his time and professional expertise and has personally been a great resource to me. Jim has become a personal friend and my relationship with Jim has been one of the best things to have come from my time here.
