Popular Bank Opens New Branch in Fort Lauderdale

Popular Bank held a ribbon cutting ceremony Thursday, February 1st, to celebrate the grand opening of its newest branch in Fort Lauderdale. Located at 10 South Federal Highway, the new branch marks Popular Bank's 12th branch and continued expansion in South Florida.


The ribbon was cut by Ignacio Alvarez – CEO and President of Popular Inc, Javier D. Ferrer – COO of Popular Inc, Manuel Chinea – Chief Operating Officer Group Manager of Popular Bank, Israel Velasco – SVP, Florida Region Executive, Luis Hernanadez – North Area Manager, SFL Region, Ryan Ramjeet – VP, Branch Manager Fort Lauderdale, along with Fort Lauderdale City Manager Greg Chavarria, President/CEO Dan Lindblade, Chair Burnadette Norris Weeks, and other officials. 


"We are thrilled to open our doors here and look forward to serving the Fort Lauderdale community," said Israel Velasco Popular Bank’s Florida Region Executive.

Gelateria Grand Re-opening

Wyndham Deerfield Beach Resort had their Gelateria Grand Re-opening Wednesday January 30. General Manager Claude Dubois welcomed the attendees. Wyndham's Audra Durham, Sales Director, staff, City Manager David Santucci, Kris Mory, Kaitlyn Collier from CRA,and other local businesses supported this event.
