Mobile License Plate Readers Have Arrived At The Village
Palmetto Bay is always working for you and so is your Policing Unit.

As an added measure of safety, the Palmetto Bay Policing Unit has a new investigative tool coupled with the latest in technology, mobile license plate readers. These mobile license tag readers collect data and can reveal suspended licenses, silver alerts, amber alerts, and stolen vehicles. In fact, our Policing Unit have already recovered stolen vehicles through the use of the tag readers.

The readers will be strategically placed at major intersections and will be rotated throughout various locations in the village. The Policing Unit is also planning to use these during large community events to deter speeders.
