Call to Action!

quick reference: breakfast, crime prevention, wreaths and be Thankful

You don't need me to tell you, but enjoy and be thankful for your family and friends this week.

I am definitely thankful to have come to know more and more of you over the years.

The office will be closed for remodeling until January - but certain meetings (like the monthly breakfast meeting will proceed). In the meantime - the kitchenette will be remodeled. If you have actual construction skills and time, let me know (just respond to this call) and I'll forward your name to the good man doing the work.

Tuesday December 6 5:00pm - 9:00pm Refuse to be a Victim. Join a Refuse To Be a Victim Crime prevention seminar which is a program of the National Rifle Association. It's an easy to understand personal safety information to the LPR Ladies Carry training group and friends.

This will be held at the Administrative Building classroom of the Longmont Police Dept and Boulder County Sheriff's Office Firing Range and Training Center (10916 County Rd 5 - Hwy 119 and CR5 in Longmont)

Please contact instructor Lynne at LMSTraining@protonmail.com to register today!

Two people confronted and stopped the shooter in CO Springs at Club Q Sunday morning. These people are heroes. Kendrick Castillo from STEM School in Highlands Ranch was a hero in his death stopping a shooter. The police in Uvalde were not. Mostly we don't want to need heroes.

Join the program above and learn what you can do for own personal safety.

Wednesday December 7, at 7:00am join the Boulder County Republican Monthly Morning Meeting for Coffee & Conversation. 425 S Bowen Stew 1, Longmont.

Erin Lee will be the speaker.

Rather than squander more of Longmont taxpayers' dollars, the city has decided to postpone what was clearly their "turn" to pass local gun ordinances in Boulder County. Instead, Longmont will wait and see what the state might do first.

Disclaimer
  • These Calls to Action are not sanctioned by anyone.  Not the RNC and not the BOCOGOP either, though they give me this platform to use and will kick me off if I misuse it.
  • I create this.  If you send me items to post, I may edit it, or I may not.  I appreciate it when things are sent because I cannot keep track of all that goes on in Boulder County!
  • The amount and thoroughness of these has only to do with how much time I have to spend on it and has nothing to do with the importance of an event.  Half the time I send this out and then notice 3 more items that you might have been interested in as well.
  • I assume this is not your only place to retrieve this sort of information.
  • And finally – I write conversationally – in other words, not well.  ;-)
Thank you for your time – and thank you for your continued support for everything that goes on in Boulder County!
