Weekly Newsletter 12/01/2023

Dear Parents,

This week our students took school pictures. I commend my staff as this takes a lot of behind the scenes work to bring kids a few at a time out of class to get their photos taken. All families should have received a little paper with an access code on it. Please do not lose it as we do not have access to those codes. When you go to the photo website, put in the code and you will be able to see your gallery and choose from various backgrounds.

You may have also gotten a message from the photographer about a discount that ends on 12/1. Please note that since the papers went out late, the discount code has been extended until 12/8. In some cases you may get a message that the photos are not ready for viewing. It takes a few days for them to get uploaded into their portal so be patient. Once you order the photos you like, they will be sent directly to you.

As we begin the month of December, I would like to thank everyone who has either donated gift cards for gifts or picked a child and shopped for them. Some gifts have started coming in and thanks to your kindness, the holidays will be much brighter for so many deserving children. I hope you are involving your child in the choosing of the gifts, what a great way to teach them empathy toward others. There are still some remaining tags, if you still wish to participate. Please turn in all UNWRAPPED gifts no later than December 14th so that "Santa" can deliver them for you.

Speaking of Santa...You will notice on our school calendar, it says Santa is coming to our school on December 15th, a Friday, but our calendar has a mistake and shows that day as a Thursday. We have sent a telegram to the North Pole to see which day Santa will come to our school and take photos with the children. Stay tuned.

Have a Wonderful weekend!
