SCC Partners with Sherry Knotek (P'08) in Coding for Cancer
SCC is proud to partner with St. Clement’s School for the "Coding for Cancer" initiative, led by Mrs. Sherry Knotek, their dedicated STEM teacher and parent of SCC alum Ryan Knotek '08.
Diagnosed with cancer in 2021, Mrs. Knotek is combining her fight against the disease with her passion for technology, an area where innovation is advancing cancer research every day.
On December 10, SCC students will participate in an hour of coding to raise funds for the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. As part of the event, students will seek donations from friends and family to support this important cause, while also learning the basics of coding.

Annual Pink Day Raises Over $2,500 for Mollie Wilmot Center
On October 30, the Student Council hosted another incredible Pink Day, raising awareness and funds for the Mollie Wilmot Radiation Oncology Center at Saratoga Hospital. Students, faculty, and staff came together, showing up in pink to support this important cause.
SCC was also proud to partner with St. Mary's School in Ballston Spa once again this year, contributing greatly to the success of the event! Our sports teams joined in, hosting their own pink-themed games throughout the month, further spreading awareness.
Pictured are representatives from the SCC Student Council, sports teams, Kiki Wagner (P ‘22) from St. Mary's School, and Renee Russel from the Mollie Wilmot Center at our check presentation.
Thank you to everyone who participated and make this event such a success year after year.
