Curriculum Open House

Join us for our Curriculum Open House on December 3rd from 5:30 to 7:00 PM. This event offers a valuable opportunity to explore our classrooms, engage in hands-on activities, and discover how the Montessori approach is applied across our Children’s House through Adolescent programs.

We recognize that many families may not have had the chance to explore our programs beyond the initial tour and our online information. These Family Information Sessions aim to bridge the gap between school and home, helping us work together to support your child’s development. Parents often discover new insights during these sessions and learn ways to reinforce the Montessori approach at home.

Please RSVP to help us plan, and note that limited childcare (for Children’s House and above, and potty trained) will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. A minimum of 15 families is needed for the event to be held.

We look forward to seeing you there and sharing more about our programs!

Winter Break Play Dates

Our Community Engagement Committee is organizing fun winter break get-togethers for families. The first gathering is set for Tuesday, 12/17, at Over the Moon in Cary. Additional meetups are being planned and will be shared soon.

These events are a wonderful way to "break up the break," giving children the chance to reconnect and play with their friends. Parents can also take advantage of the available WiFi to catch up on emails or work remotely while their children enjoy the activities!

Sneaker Drive

Did you know that your gently worn shoes can support the PE, Music, and Spanish programs at TNS? The CEC is hosting a sneaker drive fundraiser—no buying or selling, just donate your used or new sneakers. Your donations will help raise funds for these programs and keep sneakers out of landfills.

Simply drop off your shoes in the plastic bin at the carpool door or send them in with your child. The drive runs through the school year, and your support makes a big difference for both the school and the environment. Every pair counts, so please help gather shoes from your family, friends, neighbors, or coworkers.

MAP Holiday Bake Sale

Get ready to enjoy MAP’s holiday bake sale! Orders will be open next Sunday (12/1) through Sunday (12/8), with pickups on Thursday (12/12) and Friday (12/13). Choose from festive options like cookie decorating kits, craft boxes, and tasty snack boxes. Look out for the order link next week!

Proceeds from the holiday bake sale will go toward the MAP field trip fund. Thank you for supporting our students and helping make these opportunities possible!
