Greetings Rondout Families, Faculty and Friends,

As we enter this season of giving and celebration, we would like to take a moment to share our deep appreciation and gratitude to our families, staff and students.

We are truly grateful for the opportunity to be a part of your lives and for your trust as we support each Rondout student’s educational journey. The Rondout community has a special place in our hearts and there are no words to express what it means to have the privilege of leading the school and the district with your engagement and partnership.

We send warm wishes for a Happy Thanksgiving and safe travels for those who will be celebrating near and far during the days ahead. We hope you enjoy this holiday whose meaning is tied to gratitude and thankfulness.

Gratitude is a memory of the heart and hope you and your families will be making some wonderful memories together. Happy Thanksgiving!

Take care…

Until next time…

Ms. Elizabeth Davis

Principal

The Importance of Dressing for Winter Weather

It's very important to wear winter clothes in order to stay warm. If you are under-dressed and you go outside, you can possibly get frostbite. At Rondout, if the temperature is less than 0˚F with the windchill, there will be indoor recess inside the gym, activities in the library or study hall for the Upper School. Please make sure to wear appropriate winter clothing, such as hats, coats, gloves, snow pants, and boots and make sure to label your child's clothing with his/her first and last name!
