Short Term Medical may not currently be an option but we all still have customers and prospects that do not receive subsidies. Allstate has substantially enhanced the Health Access Plan to provide these customers with an option that in many instances is better than short term medical or ACA plans! This product may be both new and different but if you take the time to learn how to sell it both you and your clients will greatly benefit.
Real World Example:
A 55-year-old single male has had ACA coverage for the last several years because he is a 1099 subcontractor for his company. However, due to having an income of $115,000/yr., he only qualifies for a $37 premium subsidy. This made his premium $1,200/mo. and he only uses the plan to get his annual checkup.
