MAYOR'S UPDATE
From the desk of Mayor Rika Levin
Please join me and many of my fellow elected officials at Green Ossining’s 12th Annual Earth Day Festival at Louis B. Engel Waterfront Park on April 23rd from 10am-5pm.

Over the past couple of years, we have learned that environmentally friendly housing, parks, roads, and everything that sustains us is no longer an option but our lifeline. The Village of Ossining sits on 3.2 square miles on the banks of the majestic Hudson River, and we are enthusiastic to once again support the Earth Day Festival, which every year becomes the green education hub for all who want to learn how they can continue to lean into being the stewards of our environment.
Join the Greater Ossining community in our annual celebration of Earth Day. Bring family and friends! To learn more about what the day's featured events are, click here.
Celebrate Earth Day with 511NY Rideshare - Sign the Pledge!
Earth Day is April 22! The Village of Ossining is partnering with 511NY Rideshare to celebrate this international holiday. You can take the pledge and challenge your co-workers, friends, and neighbors to join you in commuting sustainably, and earth your Earth Month badge. Together, we can make our community a healthier place to live!

We are looking forward to a successful, engaging, and educational Earth Month.
To my Ossining Neighbors, you may have received a postcard from Sustainable Westchester about GridRewards, a free app that tells you when and how to reduce your energy usage. Ossining residents can now turn their energy savings into cash with GridRewards! Download the GridRewards app by April 30th, and when notified by the app of peak energy times, reduce your electricity use. You will receive an average of $100 in cash rewards at the end of the year.

Learn more here: Find out how to sign up with GridRewards, reduce harmful emissions and maximize your savings at https://sustainablewestchester.org/gridrewards or call 914-242-4725 ext. 122.
