Spring is here, and summer is just around the corner. If you're like me, you can't wait for warm weather and sunshine.

This month, the Chamber is gearing up for its beach concert series and other fun summer events. We hope you join us for our membership meeting at noon Thursday, April 21, at Grace Lutheran Church, 501 S Main St., Oconto Falls. All registered members are encourage to attend. We will be networking and discussing Chamber business.

The free Music by the River Series at the East Side Oconto Falls Beach will take place on three Friday nights this summer. We'll need volunteers to work the event, so please consider participating in this festive community event.
Concerts begin at 6pm.

Community Events
The Memorial Day weekend celebration is May 27-30 at Memorial Field. The Lioness will present Dash OF Color on Saturday morning, and Monday’s parade theme is “Everything Wisconsin.”
River Island Junior Golf Program starts June 16, so register youth now for the fun program.

Abrams Spotlight Productions Inc. is looking for actors who enjoy making people laugh. Auditions for "The Foreigner are 6-8:30 p.m. April 26 or April 27 at the Nancy Byng Community Theater.

Bettering the Community

We are proud of our accomplishments to make the Oconto Falls area the best place to work, play, shop, live, and learn!

Here's what the Chamber has been up to:
  • Developing a trail system with new and renovated paths
  • Hosting the annual Run for the Trails event
  • Supporting the pickleball court resurfacing project and dog park construction
  • Offering a free concert series, “Music by the River”
  • Partnering with local organizations for the community health and safety expo
  • Sponsoring the city’s welcome signs, American flag project, Highway 22 project, Leadership Oconto County
  • Getting signage for ATV/UTV/Fat Tire Bike trails, points of interest
  • Painting the smokestack at ST Paper
  • Adding new bike racks to public locations
