The Village of Lakemore hired Hammontree & Associates to design a new water storage tank to replace the existing 550,000-gallon potable water standpipe that currently serves the low-pressure zone within the Village. The current water storage standpipe has deteriorated over time and reached the end of its useful life.
H&A evaluated several options to determine the most cost-effective method for replacing the existing standpipe. The standpipe will be replaced with a new ellipsoidal water tower. The new tower will serve the low-pressure zone and serve as a back up for the high-pressure zone. H&A assisted the Village with obtaining funding for this project and worked with the Ohio EPA to obtain permit approval.
