Urgent Notice
The Estrella Warbirds Museum has continued its rapid expansion and growth over the years. The museum is governed by a board of directors whom have helped insure that all donations are utilized wisely and effectively. Our standard, (not including special projects,) operating budget has been kept less than what most people make for an annual salary.
As the economy has tightened in California, we have seen expenses rise and have had to dip in our reserve accounts to keep up with our bare bones operating fund budget.
We are asking for your assistance. Now is the time for you to support your museum. We are in dire need of funds to replace our antiquated computer and phone systems and update many of our basic operating necessities. Please consider a financial donation today. All donations are tax deductible to the extent of the which the law allows.  Donations are accepted online or can be mailed to our street addreess listed below.  We appreciate your support!

Jackie Brooks, Museum Volunteer Extraordinaire

Jackie & Ron Brooks

It is with great sadness that I have to write the following message to all of you: this past Tuesday evening, our wonderful Jackie Brooks, Gift Shop manager, passed away. Most, if not all, of you knew Jackie well and knew first hand how much she did for this organization. She had been with the museum for many years and always volunteered so much of her time and energy to what was to be accomplished. There is so much we could say about her and all of the wonderful things she did, but we will keep this short.

There will be memorial services for Jackie on Saturday, May 30th, 11 AM, at the Chapel of the Roses, 3450 El Camino Real, Atascadero, CA. A reception will follow at the Colony Inn Best Western, 3600 El Camino Real, Atascadero.  You can read more about Jackie  HEREIn lieu of flowers, Jackie's husband Ron requested that you might consider a
donation to Estrella Warbird Musum in Jackie's name.  The museum will open late on Saturday (1 PM) which will allow docents and volunteers the opportunity to attend the memorial.   She will be sorely be missed by all.
