Holiday Closure


The Merrimack Public Library will be closing early at 4:30pm on November 23rd.


We will be fully closed on Thursday and Friday, November 24th and 25th.


Normal operating hours will resume on Saturday, November 26th at 9:00am.


Merrimack Public Library Development Fund


The Merrimack Public Library Development Fund is currently seeking additional members to assist with their work. The Committee was formed in 1996 to establish an endowment fund for the construction of a new library building and for the benefit of the Merrimack Public Library. The Committee manages the Development endowment funds for the Merrimack Library and meets quarterly.

Resident Fast Facts


The Annual Town of Merrimack Food Drive has begun! There are now several drop off locations throughout Merrimack where non-perishable food items can be donated to assist families this holiday season. These drop off locations include the Merrimack Public Library, The Merrimack Police Station, and more. Food items can be donated through Saturday, December 31, 2022.


The Merrimack Rotary Club will host its annual 5K Turkey Trot road race this Thursday, November 24th, beginning at 8:00am. It will start in front of the Merrimack Middle School and interested participants can register in advance or the morning of. During this event, The Rotary Club will also be collecting canned food donations that will go to local food pantries and shelters.


Did you know that the Merrimack Welfare Department can assist with Transportation Services for Merrimack's seniors, disabled, and veterans? In preparation for the impending winter weather, please check out the Welfare Departments web page on Transportation assistance.
