Strive to Thrive a BIG Success!

Take a warm July day, approximately 135 Northwest Kansas educators, administrators, partners and volunteers, sprinkle in a lot of fun… and you have Strive to Thrive 2023! This year’s event was developed to empower educators to meet the needs of all children in trauma-informed, trauma-sensitive environments. Educators brought more than 2000 years of educational experience to the event, yet all took home new knowledge, new ideas, new friendships, and a bit of swag to kick their school year off!

Read what participants had to say after last week's fantastic event:

"I left feeling that I matter and the work I'm doing with our kids is so important. It just fills my heart with joy to feel the kind of support that we all received today. It often goes unnoticed and today was a perfect reminder why I chose education."

"It was a great day for educators to connect and learn some new ideas for the upcoming school year. This event is a great way for everyone to meet, learn, and share their talents with others!! Thanks so very much!!"

---

"I left feeling empowered and hopeful that people in the Educational setting are starting to embrace Trauma Informed practices."

---

"I felt valued as an educator and that the people presenting were there to help me in anyway possible."

"I felt glad and happy about all the new ideas and strategies I want to implement at home with my own kids and at school."

---

"I was able to connect with like minded co- workers who want the best for our students."

"I was able to network with some amazing educators and get some great information to be better prepared for the school year!"
