This event allows the Seneca County community the opportunity to welcome new educators from all of the surrounding schools and universities. The Outstanding Educator of the Year award and the Above and Beyond award will also be presented. The Around the Town event hosted by the Seneca Regional Chamber of Commerce in partnership with Heidelberg University and Tiffin University will take place on Madison Street in between South Washington Street and Jefferson Street in Downtown Tiffin on August 20 at 12:30 PM.

The Around the Town event gives incoming and returning students the opportunity to become familiar with the businesses and organizations that make up Seneca County. In previous years, nonprofit organizations have been successful in recruiting volunteers from the universities at this event.

During the event, registered businesses and organizations set up a booth to showcase their products and services to the university students. The students, along with campus leaders, walk to the event from their respective campuses. Register here.

Join the Franciscan Earth Literacy Center for their 16th Annual Summer Harvest Gourmet Gala on Friday, August 11 at 5:30 PM! All proceeds benefit the Franciscan Earth Literacy Center/Seeds of Hope Farm. Tickets are $75 per person.

The deadline to purchase tickets is Wednesday, August 2. Ticket required for participation. Winners of all raffle drawings will be announced at the event, posted on Facebook, and contacted by phone. Congratulations to Molyet's Farm Market & Garden Center on their 65th anniversary in business on Saturday! Ed, Melissa, and the entire family were joined by the community today to celebrate this wonderful accomplishment. Customers also enjoyed chicken chunks, chips, and sauces served up by Chris Chase with MST PUB Tiffin/Sauce Company while celebrating the day.

In 1958, Paul and Eula Mae Molyet were inspired by an idea that not only would provide for their family, but also for their community. At this moment, they had found their American Dream. From the very beginning, they knew from the start that the morals, values, and beliefs which they were raised on would be the building blocks that would soon become their success story and inspiration to others.

Happy Feature Friday, where every Friday the Chamber team will highlight one of our fantastic members by repping them for the day and telling the community more about them. This week's Feature Friday is: Tiffin Inflatables, LLC!

Aaron, Tiffin native, and Amanda, from Marblehead, met at work and decided to buy a home and raise their family in Tiffin. They always loved to have their daughters’ birthdays at their home so they weren’t limited to how many friends and family they could invite. Their favorite addition to these celebrations was a bounce house rental. Unfortunately, the rental came from further and further away every year. That’s when Aaron and Amanda had the idea to open their own inflatable rental company, right here in Tiffin.

Tiffin Inflatables began operations in August 2022, despite plans of launching in April 2023. After providing inflatables for some events for friends, word quickly spread of their services. Due to community support and demand, Aaron and Amanda opened their business early. Tiffin Inflatables strives to make the best experience possible, for any occasion, while building strong customer relationships along the way.
