COMMUNITY MESSAGES/ EVENTS

Congratulations to Coach Susan Savage!

She has been selected as the OATCCC Fred Dafler Career State Coach of the Year for Girls Cross Country. This award is presented in recognition of her career achievements in the sport.

The award presentation will be made at the OATCCC Hall of Fame Banquet which is held in conjunction with the annual track and field clinic. This year’s banquet will be held on Friday, January 26, 2024 at 6:30 p.m. at the Hilton Columbus at Easton. 

Upcoming Events

This Friday (1/26) is our Hall of Fame recognition. Doors open at 5:30pm and the celebration and recognition will take place in the Sue Harder Memorial Performing Arts Center (auditorium). 

This year's inductees are:

Dan Murphy - class of 1970

Kevin Siple - Coach from 1993-2008

Ted Bolser - class of 2009

Our inductees will be acknowledged at halftime of the boys varsity basketball game vs Reading as well. Varsity game begins at 7:30pm and halftime will be around 8pm.

Tuesday, 1/30 will be our boys basketball senior night... there are 10 of them! Come out and support your student-athletes!

On Friday, 2/2, we will celebrate our senior cheerleaders at halftime of the boys varsity basketball game vs Wyoming

Boys and Girls Swimming senior day will be at Powel Crosley YMCA on Saturday, 2/3

Diving senior day will be on 2/3 at West Clermont HS

Bowling senior night will be at Eastgate Lanes on Wednesday, 2/7 at 4pm

Wrestling in-school-dual vs Roger Bacon will be on Friday, 2/9 at 1:30pm

HS Meet Results:

1/13/24 and 1/14/24 - SW Classics recap

The AquaBraves competed in the Southwest Coaches Classic, the largest swim meet in the country! Every high school in Southwest Ohio, regardless of size, compete over 11 prelim sites, all coming together for Finals at night. Indian Hill Girls finished in 10th place, while the Boys captured 13th place as a team. 

The effort was led by Seniors Marina Oria and Jeffrey Wenker as well as Junior Arjun Velayutham and Sophomore Gabby Henz. Arjun was the highest scoring swimmer, finishing 3rd in the 500 Free while Senior Diver Josie Festa won the Gold medal, taking home first place! Incredible!

1/20/24 - IH @ Brookeville Invitational

Indian Hill wrestling team had a busy weekend as they participated in the Brookville Invitational. They secured an impressive 8th place out of 17 teams and also achieved excellent individual performances. Tye Tunstall earned 1st place, Evan Mercurio secured 3rd place, Michael Ryu and Damir Almuratov both secured 4th place, and Tony Kassis earned 4th place. The team is now gearing up for the Milford Invitational, which is scheduled for next Saturday.
