We have happy and sad news from members of the association.

Bob Klein, General Manager of United Alarm Services and 31-year veteran volunteer firefighter, along with his wife Lisa, are pleased and proud to announce that their 25-year-old daughter Catherine has been hired as a full-time firefighter/EMT by the Weston Massachusetts Fire Department. Bob’s other two children Robert Jr. and Lauren were also volunteer firefighters as well.

Congratulations to all the public servants in the Klein family.

Homeguard, Inc., one of the initial members of CASIA, shared the sad news that Kevin Graham, a 20 year employee of Homeguard, passed away suddenly of a heart attack in July. Kevin was the young age of 62. Our condolences to his family and coworkers.

Connecticut Low Voltage (L-6)

Electrician Apprenticeship Training

CASIA has resigned an agreement with ESA/NTS to be an official reseller of their education training. This curriculum was specifically compiled to meet the 288-hour course requirements of the state of Connecticut when apprenticing for the L-6 low voltage electrical license. The NTS program is online and the progression of each student’s study is monitored and tracked by NTS.
