If you have a little bit of extra time on your hands and are looking for a new hobby or willing to share your knowledge or even learn something new, we are always looking for gift shop workers,  docents or volunteers in the restoration or maintenance areas.  We are all family and would like you to join us!  It's fun! There are plenty of new friends to meet and enjoyable times to be had. Contact us today!  We'd love to hear from you.

Giving Tuesday - An Opportunity You  Don't Want To Miss

On #GivingTuesday, Facebook and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation will be matching up to $2 million of funds raised for US nonprofits through Facebook's charitable giving tools. Donations can be matched up to $50,000 per nonprofit, with a max of $1,000 per fundraiser or donate button, until the $2 million in matching funds run out. The match will begin November, 28th at 8AM EST (5AM PST).

Facebook is waiving all fees for donations to nonprofits on #GivingTuesday. Don't miss out on this incredible year end opportunity to double your donation impact.  Please click on the image above to be taken to our FaceBook page and consider a donation today. Estrella Warbirds Museum is a 501(c)(3) non profit, funded primarily by private donations. As we continue to grow, unfortunately, so do our expenses. Every dollar donated helps us fulfill our mission.

We are dedicated to the restoration and preservation of military aircraft, military vehicles, and memorabilia to those who flew and worked on military aircraft. Our approach, however, is not to glorify conflict but rather to make a future generation aware of the fact our way of life does not come without sacrifice.
West Coast Sprint Car Champion

Richard, Claudia and Robert Woodland present the Woodland Auto Display Award to fast time winner and newly crowned West Coast Sprint Car Champion, Damion Gardner, as the track announcer, Chris Holt handles the mic.  Chris really did give a lengthy and upscale interview and promo of  the Estrella Warbirds Museum / Woodland Auto Display facility to a standing room only crowd at the Oval Nationals In Perris California.

Next January, at the USAC/CRA championship awards banquet in Las Vegas, the Woodland's will present Damion Gardner with the award for the most fast times in qualifying during the 2017 season!

Aircraft home based at Estrella Warbird Museum are often seen in the skies above paying tribute at funerals and special holiday flyovers.

This past month saw the planes not only over Paso Robles and Santa Barbara during Veteran's Day celebrations, but also above the Colony Days in Atascadero, where long time Estrella Warbirds Museum member, Ed Chidlaw was being honored as "King of Ceremonies."
Our team wanted to share this special honor for Ed!
