Dear Prince Families:

As we stand on the cusp of school year 2023/24, we are excited to welcome all our students back to campus! You are encouraged to attend one of our Wolverine Welcomes scheduled for this Friday, and their times are listed below. This week provides a final opportunity to ensure all school supplies and uniforms are ready and that students have their summer reading completed.

We are excited about the year we have planned for our students, and we look forward to having them back on campus soon!

Prince Avenue Christian School offers four

morning and afternoon bus routes:

1. Athens
2. Watkinsville/Good Hope
3. Loganville/Monroe
4. Bethlehem/Jefferson

Students can register as Regular Riders (monthly rate) if they expect to ride the bus most days. Students can also register as Occasional Riders (daily rate) and ride on an as-needed basis. Fees are charged monthly or per day.

High School SAT and ACT Testing Dates:

Prince Juniors and Seniors,

Please refer to the chart below when making your plans for taking college entrance exams for the upcoming school year. You will receive more information from Jesse Owens regarding on-campus testing closer to the testing dates.

• Little Prince Players is the lower school drama club that is offered on Thursdays from 3:00 - 4:30 pm for 4th and 5th-grade students.

• During the fall, students are introduced to the fundamentals of drama while preparing for the drama portion of the lower school musical.

• Rehearsals will begin on August 17th. Participants should register at the link below.

• The cost per student is $150 which will be billed on the student's FACTS account at $50 per month.

The Prince Athletics Department is in the process of

updating documents for participation in athletics

for school year 2023-2024.

There are three forms required by the state of Georgia for participation in middle and high school athletics. Prince collects and stores these documents through PRIVIT, an electronic system used to manage athletic documents.

• A yearly GHSA Physical Form – This form should be printed by you and completed and signed by a healthcare professional. A copy of the completed physical must be uploaded by you to your PRIVIT account.

• Concussion Awareness Form – must be signed in PRIVIT each year after April 1st

• Cardiac Arrest Awareness Form – must be signed in PRIVIT each year after April 1st

Please take a moment to go into your PRIVIT account and ensure that all forms are uploaded, signed, and in good order for the upcoming school year.
