Calling Adult Volunteers for Youth Council

Advocate for and support youth programming in the Diocese of WNC by offering a small amount of time to attend youth council events.

Adult advisors commit to attending bi-monthly meetings and occasional youth retreats for the upcoming school year. It's not a huge commitment, but it's a big help to our youth and diocesan missioners.

Please email Charlotte if interested, or if you have any questions.

Around the Episcopal Church

Task Force Works to Provide Resources on Mental Health

An Episcopal Church task force is working to provide resources to help church members and clergy better understand and assist people who are coping with various forms of mental or emotional distress. The Task Force on Individuals with Mental Illness was created in 2018 and reauthorized by General Convention in 2022 with a mandate to develop and provide “resources, trainings and curricula in pastoral and ministerial mental health care” and to “develop and share resources for The Episcopal Church.”

Register to Exhibit at the 81st General Convention

Registration is now open to all organizations and vendors. Traditionally held every three years, this churchwide gathering is scheduled for June 23-28, 2024, at the Kentucky International Convention Center in Louisville, Kentucky. The exhibit area is designated as a marketplace and educational center for deputies, bishops, clergy, and lay people from around the world, with thousands expected to pass through.
