Marching for Mental Health
When our neighbors are struggling and seeking comfort and support, CATCH is here.

That's why we marched in Northbrook's July 4th parade this year. We spotlighted mental health at a time when our community needed it most.

It was a tough day for so many people as we marked one year since the shooting in Highland Park. The anniversary effect of trauma is real and takes a toll on mental well-being.

Thank you to our dedicated volunteers who joined us and to everyone along the way for the warm response.

Extreme cases are now diagnosed as ARFID, Avoidant Restrictive Food Intake Disorder. 

In the final episode of season two of our podcast, Parenting the Mental Health Generation, local author Linda B. Davis talks about her newly published book, Food Fight. It introduces the reader to ARFID through the unforgettable experiences of a middle schooler and serves as a universal lesson about accepting ourselves.
