FROM THE SAFETY & SECURITY DEPARTMENT

Leisure Trail Safety Reminder: Motorized vehicles - including electric and pedal-assist bikes and scooters - are prohibited in Sea Pines.

Exceptions include power-driven mobility devices that are permitted for ADA use and for Sea Pines Property Owners who have been granted medical and health exemptions by Sea Pines CSA.

FROM THE CAPITAL PROJECTS DEPARTMENT

South Sea Pines Drive Infrastructure Improvement Project: Major stormwater drainage work along South Sea Pines Drive from Baynard Cove Road to Gadwall Road is in progress (pictured). Expect traffic delays and leisure trail closures.

Tree work will be conducted next week along Plantation Drive from Lighthouse Road to Baynard Cove Road for future leisure trail repairs and enhancements. Intermittent lane closures and flagging operations will be in place. Please use caution while driving in this area.

Sea Pines CSA Boardwalk #16 Replacement Project: Boardwalk #16 (pictured), located between Bald Eagle Road and Belted Kingfisher, has exceeded its useful life and must be replaced. Project work will begin the week of January 29th. Work will take approximately 2 to 3 weeks, weather permitting. The beach boardwalk access will be closed to all pedestrian traffic during this time. FROM THE MAINTENANCE DEPARTMENT

Roadway Asphalt Repairs: Due to inclement weather, roadway asphalt repairs along Plantation Drive between Greenwood Drive and Lighthouse Road, as well as on Lighthouse Road near Gleneagle Lane and the Fire Station, have been rescheduled to next week. Intermittent lane closures and flagging operations will be in place. Please use caution while driving in these areas.

Tree Care Management: Leisure trail tree trimming over Greenwood Drive from Greenwood Forest to Sea Pines Drive will begin next week.

Stormwater Repair & Maintenance: Line jetting drainage pipes and cleaning catch basins along South Beach Lane starting at Piping Plover Road will begin next week.

2024 Sea Pines CSA Annual Assessment Payments: 2024 Annual Assessment payments were due on Friday, January 12th. Payments received after this date will be subject to late fees and interest charges. To pay your assessment online click here. We extend our sincere appreciation to all property owners who have made their payments on time.

Please note due to the high volume of remittance checks being sent to our lockbox, we are experiencing a longer processing time. We ask for your patience with your payment clearing our financial institution. As long as the postage is marked on or before the due date, we will not be assessing late fees and interest charges. Join The Artists of Sea Pines for their open house, Heart to Heart on Thursday, February 1st from 4:30-6:30 PM at the SPCSA Community Center. This year will feature guest artists from Hilton Head Plantation. In honor of February's American Heart month, 10% of the proceeds from this show will go to Volunteers in Medicine (VIM) on Hilton Head Island.
